Current CM Akhilesh Yadav has said that he is hopeful that SP workers will work hard to make SP Government elected in UP 2017 state assembly elections. With eyes to garnering enough support from party workers divided into two factions within the party and the government officials, he has been busy with announcing new schemes and laying foundation stones of several projects. Recently to woo government officials, he had cleared paying Seventh Pay Commission report on increment in salaries of government officials.
On questions asked about opposition charges that he has been working with inauguration at end time to please people, he said that it is what democracy needs. He said that with more inauguration and other development activities being carried out across the state, he is hopeful of wining the next election.
With disruptions caused by Demonetization steps from Government, elections stories have slowed. But with upcoming months’ new rounds of heat ups will be generated to boost chances of winning. While, with demonetization it is expected that BJP may sway more votes from poor sections, SP is too betting hard on wining back.
